I need your opinions on these books....?

I have to read a book over the summer, and I need to choose between Cold Mountain and All Souls%26#039; Rising. If you%26#039;ve read either of them, can you tell me a little bit about them (I don%26#039;t want a full summary, just like, a sentence) and whether or not you liked it/why or why not? I just need help deciding =D

They are both very good, yet emotionally difficult books. I prefered All Souls%26#039; Rising though.

i liked reading cold mountain because it had ties to history that were interesting and not boring. there are many sub plots in the book as well which made me that much more interested. definetely a page turner.

havnt read it but my friend did and couldn%26#039;t put it down.
Reply:go to amazon.com and look at those books overall rating (i.e, number of stars). I find that quite accurate.
