Are the Harry Potter 8 rumors true?
No, but she is writing 1 more book, but it isnt technically a harry potter 8, its like a HP encyclopedia
Are the Harry Potter 8 rumors true?
She already did that.... She called it Tales of Beedle the Bard. Amazon bought it, and you can find information on it there;.
Reply:Ya theres no more books in the series but they still might make some encyclopedia junk

Reply:The prequel is only like 800 word it%26#039;s written on an index card and the card will be auctioned...after the auction the story will be published on the internet and in a book for charity featuring index card stories by other authors...for more info on everything Harry Potter goto www.leakynews.com.
Reply:JK Rowling and many other authors were asked to right a short story to be auctioned off for charity. They wrote these stories on cards.

She wrote an 800 word prequel to Harry Potter that will be auctioned off for charity on June 10th. This is not considered Harry Potter 8, just a short prequel.

It will be published in a book called %26quot;What%26#039;s Your Story? Postcard Collection%26quot; that will have a limited release in August and only be sold at a UK bookstore.

That bookstore will put the prequel online for all Potter fans to read on June 11th. (This will be the only legal online copy, if anyone copies it and distributes it throughout the internet they would be violating copyright laws). If you live in the UK you can also read it through the window of the bookstore.

JK Rowling has also said she plans on writing a Harry Potter encyclopedia, but it won%26#039;t be published for a long time.

JK Rowling is currently working on novels that are not Potter related. I heard it was crime fiction aimed at adults.
