Does anyone know what this book is called?

There is a book and it%26#039;s about this girl is very religious (i forgot the specific religion) and it starts out when she is younger and there is a town picnic and the guys have to take a girl and the draw straws for her cause no one wants to take her and then she finds out and she leaves. (the guy that picked her straw wise was the guy she liked) She comes back a while later and she works in a store (can%26#039;t remember whose store) and the guy she liked works there and her brother. And then the guy she likes gets beat up and she finds him or somthing like that and in the end they end up together. Does anyone know what book that is?
